Dum Maro Dum movie is just released across India in April 2011, Goenchea Ostoreachcho Awaz (GOA) came out with a peaceful protest outside Multiplex / INOX theatres protesting the pre-screen of the notorious film Dum Maro Dum on Thursday evening – this is the hot topic news in India as far as entertainment related concern. All four shows performed accompanied by tight security covered in the location, and the last show at 11:15pm.

Swati Kerkar led by a group to voice concern over the depiction of the film and insisted that the government stop the paid pre-screen of the film on Thursday and all further scheduled screening will go on. In their letter to the Chief Minister, the group has requested that the special committee should examine the film for content and hatred, and further requested the Censor Board to censor the film for any objectionable against Goa and Goan women.

The women activists accused the government of promoting offensive portrayal of Goan women in the movie. People in Goa really upset that Goa government has miserably failed to stop the Dum Maro Dum Hindi movie. Goa is a warm hospitality location in India and such movie and image can create bad impression on others as far as Goa's residents concern.
Goa and its residents particularly women are decently dressed and are not in any anti-social activities as the movie makers portray in the movie that reflect in Dum Maro Dum movie, this film create little unhappy to Goan women association for bad character shown.
