In Goa alone around 240 people permitted for arms licenses
About 240 VIPs got license in Goa, as per statement, it is including VIPs such as top mine owners in Goa, politicians in Goa, policemen and businessmen in Goa, they have been permitted arms licenses in Goa over the last three years, and it was announced in the Goa state assembly.
As per source of information submitted by the home ministry during the budget session Friday in Goa assembly, Goa's former governor S.C. Jamir was permitted an arms license for his single barrel muzzle loading (SBML) gun which the former Chief Minister of Nagaland proposed to use for self-protection.
Other VIPs in Goa permitted for Arms licenseOther than this in Goa, Goa's revenue Minister Jose Phillip D'Souza & Goa's Tourism Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar both of them were also permitted arms licenses for self-protection. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Goa, Chandrakant Salgaonkar and DSP Naresh Mhamal, who have been investigating the high profile police politician drug mafia nexus in Goa, have also been permitted arms licenses in Goa.
Hospitality fame in Goa, General managers of the Taj Holiday village and Fort Aguada beach resort - Vishal Singh & Rajeev Khanna and Hoteliers and casino operators namely Narinder Punj, who operates India's biggest offshore casino Casino Royale have also been granted licenses for carrying arms.
