New Mediclaim proposal from Goa CM

Good news for Goan residents that a new mediclaim scheme on Hassle-free is in the offing by Goa CM, Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat said in the Assembly on 1st April 2011. Goa CM Kamat announced that a new medical scheme that is being proposed with full provision that a common man does not worry and face minor to major problems in availing medical benefit under this scheme.

Mediclaim facilities in Goa

For Goan residents benefit, the Goa chief minister stated that in response to Private Members' Resolution moved by Fatorda MLA Damu Naik. Naik had notified a resolution demanding that residents' income ceiling limit for entitle to get mediclaim facility to be avail those from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh with effect from year 2010 to 2011. He also stated due to the revenue limit of Rs 1.5 lakh - residents and responsible family men many in need of financial support and assistance for medical treatment further, are unable to get these benefit under the medical-scheme.
