Introducing Jindal Prize for five categories
The Jindal Prize is formed by the S J Foundation to accolade exceptional service of current significance rendered by individuals or organizations for the welfare of Indian citizens in the country. Jindal was established in 1969, the Foundation is simple, non religious and charitable trust, it has engaged in the field of education, social service and health with special attention on nature cure.
Jindal Foundation and other detail:
The Jindal Foundation, other than extending financial support to other charitable institutions, it has also directly set up several hospitals and educational institutions. The Jindal Foundation also assists the needy, poor and deserving students through scholarships.
The Jindal Prize aims particularly at encouraging peace, harmony, moral values, health, education, patriotism, national integration and religious tolerance and at inspiring individuals to serve without motive of personal gain, social or political mileage. It is expected that the reward and recognition garnered by the Jindal Prize awardees will analyze and catalyze their efforts towards social upliftment.
There will be five Prizes of Rs One Crore each, to be conferred annually,
one for each of the following categories.

As public expected, the awardees shall be selected by the Jury of well-known and reputed persons of reliability through a process self-governing of the working of the Foundation.
