Advantage from Railway Budget 2011-2012


Since Railway Minister Mamta Bannerjee has proposed 56 new express trains in her Railway Budget for 2011-2012, these 56 express train routed for various location across country but only one for Goa that is Vasco to Velankanni. There is no special train to or from Goa but special trains such as Vivek express, Kavi Guru express and Janam Bhoomi Gaurav express are for different route. As per source of Budget 2011-2012, there is one express train from Vasco to Velankanni express (weekly) added. It is a part of Indian Union Budget 2011 - 2012

What is the benefit from Railway Budget 2011-2012


As per Railway authority, Indian Railways earning for 2010-2011 is set to exceed few hundred crores or estimated to one hundred thousand crores in PPP terms, it was more than the GDP of foreign countries such as Jordan, Uruguay, Nepal, Cameroon and Afghanistan along with other 90 plus countries. Indian Union Budget 2011 - 2012 and its overall benefit is expected more than said figure.
