The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will hold the Civil Services (for Preliminary) Exam for 2011; as stated above, the exam date will be on 12th June 2011 for recruitment for the following posts - IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IPS (Indian Police Service) and certain other Central Services / Posts.

UPSC examination will be held at various centers across the country.
