AADHAR and UID Project in Goa

This piece of information will give you the detail about Aadhar (Unique Identification Number (UID)) project progress in Goa state in year 2010-11 although there was a delay but initial process is undergoing to execute the project of AADHAR and relevant authority has parted the area to cover housing survey and pictured house listing etc.

As per the Government directives toward AADHAR project across India, so far in Goa state, resident of Goa is ready to obtain a 16 digit AADHAR (Unique Identification Number (UID)) by next year 2011, Unique Identification Number (UID) renamed to AADHAR, there were process of the data collection during the continuing survey operations that had been completed by May to September, 2010 in Goa.

During this Aadhar operation in Goa, the first stage was housing survey and pictured house listing for around 45 days operation were in Goa. North Goa collector said during initial proposal that it could be achievable to issue AADHAR (UID) to citizens within in six months after the first stage survey once completed. As per its survey, information gathered in the first round assessment wouldn't not only help in creating a invaluable database but also the Goa state's and country's first ever national popular register (NPR).

So far the census data in Goa would be made available to AADHAR authority of India after the first stage process in Goa has completed long back during September 2010. AADHAR, which would be issued the Unique Identification to Goa citizens, it will be 'Registrar General' and Census Commissioner had arrived at an mutual understanding over providing of the database.

Each person in Goa will not only be recognized and identified by his individual details but will have a separate number and also will be filed in the national popular register (NPR), in addtion, Aadhar (UIDAI) has taken it up as a challenge to issue the Aadhar UID) to all citizens. The census of AADHAR might happen once in ten years for re-register or renew or to create a new one for new born etc and at the same time the AADHAR will be a continuous process and the information may go on changing till it updates relevant information exactly.
