December 19, 2010, Panaji, 18th December 2010, Goa is toward into Golden Jubilee year of its freedom on 19th December 2010. Government and Non-Government organizations in Goa state have planned out a wide range of celebration and the special event.
Golden Jubilee celebration in Goa
The day long celebration would begin with the spread out of National flag by Goa C.M. Shri Digambar Kamat at the main function venue at parade ground campal, Panaji at 9.15 a.m. where he will renew the parade, address the people of the state and give awards to those who have immensely contributed in different service fields.
Highlight on this function's speaker in Goa
The function will be attended by speaker Dy. Speaker Shri Mauvin Gudinho, Shri Pratapsingh Rane, cabinet Minister, MP's Leader of Opposition Shri Manohar Parrikar MLAs, Judges of High Court, Advocate General and other VIPs. This is the 50th year of Goa's Liberation. As Goa enter the Golden jubilee year of freedom, many questions come up: Are we really secular and democratic? Do we get justice? Do the superior ideals of liberty, equality and union exist?

In India, Goa is one of the large amount advanced states of our country. Goa has literacy as high as 85 per cent. Although, Goa has no complete success story but it has good future if proposed well by the organization. In spite of a poor man liberation did not mean much since poor had / has to work just as hard to make ends meet basic requirement during and after liberation, for others it meant freedom of thought, expression, social, economic and political justice, belief, faith and worship also equality opportunity.
