Goa CBSE exam result, Central Board of Secondary Education. In continuous the second year in succession, Goa state has crowned the Chennai region in the standard XII results of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Goa state crowned the list of ten states and Union territories gaining a pass percentage above 98%, GOA Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Result (GBSHSE) was announced on 19/05/2010.

Sources said, the Chennai region, comprising Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Daman and Diu, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Maharashtra, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu, also recorded an 11-year-high pass percentage of above 92%. Goa state, from where 389 of 396 students passed this year, had titled the region last year too with a pass percentage of above 98%. Goa has eight schools that follow the CBSE pattern/syllabus.
