About Church of Holy Spirit, Margao, Goa:

As per history of Goa churches, Church of Holy Spirit was built herein Margao Goa in around 15th century and later its was renovated and the present building was constructed in around 16th century.

Today Church of Holy Spirit stands as one of the finest examples of the Indian decorative style and era of church building. The Church of Holy Spirit has a beautiful interior and the outer frontage built in towers on either side with a central dome structure. The Church of Holy Spirit heavily ornamented altars inside are devoted to St. Peter and St. Michael.

How to reach Church of Holy sprit Margao:

The Margao Railway station is nearest one, and it is Goa's largest and main place as its junction situated, all trains passing through Goa stop at Margao, and it is a main place to south Goa to move ahead. So, Margao is used more commonly as a transit stop rather than as a tourist destination.
