Education in Goa:


Goa, everybody thinks that it is only about tourist hot spot, beaches, many amusements, relaxation and spill of tourists, we need to think twice. Goans are quite seriously on their education.

Goa, there are numbers of outstanding educational institutions in Goa which the state can proud of. The Goa University is the leading centre of learning. There are many professional colleges and institutions, including engineering, polytechnics and ITIs.

Goa, it has an option of few law colleges, Management studies and a catering institute too forms a vital role in the listing of educational institutions in Goa. The Goa Medical College is amongst the oldest in Asia and a highly esteemed institution. The prestigious National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) is a head in marine research in India.

The Goa state also has a premier Business school for example, Goa Institute of Management which is self-governing. Goa has many educational institutions that offer various courses in different centers; Goa has institutes like for hotel management, for business management, for marine engineering, that are also famous in India. One of the treasures of knowledge for Goa pupil is the Central Library in Panaji and the Xavier Centre for Historical Research.

Goa was once under Portuguese control. As of today the Goa state keeps on to offer Portuguese as a third language in most of its schools. Goa’s schools are affiliated to the State SSC, and there are some schools are run by ICSE or CBSE board and it is very popular for their quality education.

It is a very valuable information about Thought of Goa because other states including kerala peoples are not aware about the institutions in Goa.
