Transport facilities in Goa: Goa has lot of public transports mainly use of private company buses that helps to reach the major towns to rural areas and vice-versa. Goa has Government buses too that managing by the Kadamba Transport Corporation, it has linked and operating toward main routes such as remote areas of the Goa state and the Panjim to Margao main route etc.
Train facilities in Goa: Goa has two rail lines one run by the South Western Railway and the other one by the Konkan Railway. South Western Railway line was built at the time when there were colonial period and it was linking the famous town name Vasco Da Gama, Goa with Hubli in Karnataka. Konkan railway transports passenger to reach almost all North and East part of India and South Western Railway transports all passenger whose destination in central and Southern part of India.
Taxi facilities in Goa: Transport can be hired in the form of cabs include un-metered taxis, and, in urban areas, auto rickshaws. A different form of transport in Goa is the Motorcycle taxi, managed by drivers who are used to locally called "pilots". Such vehicles transport a single rider at nominal fares that are usually negotiated before travel begins. Major and minor river passing through in Goa area’s transport are serviced by small and large types of ferry boats, operated by the river navigation departments.
Own vehicles in Goa: In large towns such as Panjim and Margao, there are transport facilities like they have local “intra-city” buses that served to the tourist and local people. However, it has been observed that public transport in Goa has less developed compare to other cities, and Goa residents mostly depend on their own vehicle, Goa residents normally use their own two-wheelers or other vehicles. Tourist can get the two wheelers motor cycle or bike for rent by showing their Address proof, ID proof and advance money option etc.
Roads in Goa: there are two National highways passing through it. National Highway -4 joins the capital Panjim to Belgaum (Karnataka) in east, and linking Goa to cities in the Deccan (Andhra). Another one is National Highway -17A routing to India's west coast also links Goa toward Mumbai (Maharashtra) in the north and Mangalore (Karnataka) to the south part.
Flight facilities in Goa:Goa has sole airport, it is none other than the famous Dabolim Airport, it is catering to all Domestic and International airlines that stop and re routes to other Indian and International destinations. The airport also handles a large number of chartered flights. Goa receives International flights from USA, Europe, Middle East, Far East and Asia Pacifics during the charter flight tourist season. Dabolim airport is serviced by the following Indian flight carriers – Air India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Paramount Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Go Air, SpiceJet.
