Prejudice in Goa for SCs, STs, OBCs

Prime Minister described on prejudice done to Goan SCs, STs, OBCs.
Margao, 26th Oct 2010, PM described on injustice done to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and OBC communities in Goa state. The Goa state ST, SC and OBC confederation has described the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson and other leaders in the central on the injustice done to the SCs, STs, OBCs (Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and OBC communities) in Goa since the last fifty years.
The Federation president and ex-MLA Antonio D Gauncar said the central leaders were surprised to know about the ill treatment facing out to these communities in Goa since these communities enjoy all the rights and benefits guaranteed under the Indian constitution. Gauncar also said the Federation will depiction all the leaders for back-stabbing these communities at the right time and at the right platform.
The Federation has made attention to the government to put into practice the cut off date of 19th February 1968 as per the Presidential order, apply 30 per cent reservation for SCs, STs, OBCs (scheduled tribes) based on the cut off date and completion of Article 332 of the Indian constitution.
