Mabor / Mobor Beach is one of the most popular and the happening beaches of Goa and has become one of the favourites of the tourists coming in to India. Mabor Beach is a small stretch of a beach, located on the south side of the Colva and the Cavelossim Beach. The Mabor Beach was unheard of and was lesser known ones till the eighties. After that many resorts and hotels came up and now this is one of the beaches which have luxury hotels and resorts in Goa.

Recreational activities at the Mabor / Mobor Beach

Specialities of the Mabor Beach is the fishing village and the lagoon.
Cavelossim Mabor area is well known for the water adventure sports. There are many tourists and travellers who just come in to Mabor area to have a go at the water sports. You can find speed boat rides, water surfing, para sailing, jet skiing,banana and bump rides. Biking in the sands is another passtime of the tourists .
There is a small shopping stretch you can find in the beach, which sells, souvenirs, gifts, antiques and the Goan handicrafts to take home as the memorabilia.
There are many eateries and cafes which gives you a choice of taking whatever you feel like. It is really a thrilling and refreshing experiance to sit under an umbrella, sipping a drink and watching others dancing or sailing or riding around you in the beach.

How to Reach the Mabor Beach

Dabolim is the nearest airport which is 68 kilometers from the beach. Karmali is the closest railway station . You can taxis from the airport and the railway station to reach mabor Beach.
You can also reach Colva Beach first and then drive to Mabor Beach.
