Royal Goan Beach Club at Monterio , it is situated in Baga in Goa (north), it has a restricted private members' club. Located beside the famous river Arpora, this resort has built into a jungle surrouned hillside. The name of the resort and its setting provides rise to the name 'MonteRio' (mountain / river).
Baga beach is highlighted as being the most pleasing beaches in Goa and it is just 10 minutes away. A nice crowd of activities to enjoy include cruises, water sports, and trips to cashew nut factory (optional and seasonal) over there, also various temples, churches and beaches to visit nearby.
It has set on the Baga River and it is a quick hop to the night market, Baga beach and the nightlife reputation that precedes this area.

How to reach Royal goan beach club at Monterio:
By Air: Nearest airport: Dabolim 45 kms distance to the resort location.
By Road: From Mapusa (8 kms) or Panjim (16 kms) to the resort, follow signs for Calangute / Vagator beach. At Calangute church turn right, continue for 1km & turnleft at cross-junction. Drive straight till you reach Arpora chapel junction, turn right, continue for 1/2 km, turn left and drive straight to Monterio. Foreigners are advised not to drive in India.
By Train: Nearest railway station: Thivim (1/2 hour's drive). Karmali near Old Goa is 45 minutes' drive or Margao (1 1/2 hour's drive) to the Resort. Pre-paid taxis are available at the airport and railway station
